Each Trion P1/S1 LiDAR scanner comes with 1 free license for Trion Model basic module. However, extra Trion Model basic module, drawing & forestry module will be extra cost.

Yes, you can get multi-license for 1 Trion P1/S1 LiDAR scanners. And this is common practice for some of our clients that the site scanning team has 1 Trion Model basic module license to allow them to conduct scanning quality check on site, while the office data processing team gets another license.

The licenses can be used for multi device. And the processes are:

• Return the license from your device by contacting us. Unfortunately, the self-return is not supported at this stage;
• Once the license is returned, the license code can be activated on your new device.

For data download, the easiest way is to connect your laptop to the WIFI generated by the LiDAR (Note: disconnect your phone from the LiDAR, when you connect your laptop, as the LiDAR only allows 1 connection at the same time), and use web browser to visit 192.168.1.254 download the data directly into your laptop.

Yes, you can. However, Trion Model basic module is required to generate high-quality .las file during pre-processing. So you can use other third party LiDAR point cloud processing software for post-processing.
